JACKSON, Wyo. -- The high price of gas didn't keep visitors away from Grand Teton and Yellowstone national parks this summer. The number of visitors to Grand Teton National Park exceeded 540,000 in August, up 8.6 percent from the same month last year, according to the Jackson Hole News and Guide.
